Project: Zambia. April 2021 – March 2022.

The School of Optometry at Levy Mwanawasa University in Lusaka (Zambia) is relatively new, with less than 10 years of existence.

For this reason, it needed to improve the training of trainers—the lecturers who teach future optical and optometry professionals in the country and in neighbouring African nations.

In collaboration with the Zambian Ministry of Health and the English NGO Vision Action, we have funded the training of two optometrists, Mr. Kelvin Jere and Mrs. Dorren Chongo, lecturers at the School of Optometry in Lusaka.
