Since 2010, a programme for the prevention and treatment of Retinopathy of Prematurity has been carried out in the region of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, which has 3,100,000 inhabitants.
We have equipped the three maternity hospitals and trained the local staff, creating a national reference centre for the treatment of retinopathy of prematurity in Bolivia.
