In collaboration with other NGOs, we supported the distribution of the antibiotic azithromycin to the population of Turkana for the fight against trachoma during the period 2011–2015. With nearly 1,000,000 inhabitants, Turkana (Kenya) is one of the poorest regions in Africa.
