“I perform approximately 480 surgeries per year, mainly SICS (small-incision cataract surgery), and I attend to around 3,984 patients annually. It is worth noting that these numbers have increased over time.
I train residents, ophthalmic nurses, and opticians in clinical ophthalmology during their internship period. I also collaborate with my colleagues in surgical procedures.
I also take part in community eye-care services, such as free screening campaigns in nearby schools and villages.”
